Dr. Murthy has always been interested in nutrition and medicine and started out in college as a pre-med student. “I went on a medical volunteer trip to Honduras with a friend and on the first day students were asked to volunteer to help various doctors. However, no one volunteered to help the dentist. I decided to volunteer with the dentist and after three days of working with him I decided that I wanted to be a dentist."
